I read an article about showing vs telling. A good tips of doing business, or any other things you are doing really.
Instead of telling people you should eat fruit, you should pray all the time, you should do good,
SHOW THEM.
Buy them fruits and prepare for them to feast, ask them to join you during prayer time, do good to people.
Same goes when you are doing business. Say you are selling a skirt. A lady walks in your store. You approach the lady and say 'hey, try this new skirt we are selling'. Often, people will have a glance, and walkaway.
How about you get a proper size for the customer, and usher her to the fitting room to try it. After she look at the mirror, she loves it and ka-ching, you get you sale for that day :D
People won't believe your words (especially if you are a stranger) unless they see the results in front of them. SHOW!
